Privacy Policy

SkyAI Campus (skyaicampus.com) is run by [TO FILL: company legal name], [TO FILL: registered address].

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the DPDP Rules, 2025, we are the Data Fiduciary for your personal data. That means we decide why and how it is used, and we are responsible for keeping it safe.

When you sign up:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your mobile number (+91)
• Your password (stored only in scrambled, "hashed" form; we can never see it)
• Your year of birth

When you set up your profile:

• Your college and its city
• Your goal (for example the job role you are aiming for), daily study minutes and reminder time

When you use SkyAI Campus:

• Your practice answers: which option you chose, whether it was right, how long it took, and hints used
• Your progress worked out from those answers: topic scores, Sunrise Streak and job-readiness score
• Your Campus Forest focus sessions: length, start and end time, and whether the tree grew

Technical data: sign-in cookies that keep you logged in, and basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) that our providers record to keep the service running and secure.

We do not collect your Aadhaar, bank or card details, location, contacts or photos. We only use cookies that are needed to log you in. If you try questions without an account, we do not save your answers.

• Name, email, password: to create your account, log you in, and send emails about your account (like confirming your email or resetting your password).
• Mobile number: only for study reminders. We do not use it for marketing calls or sell it.
• Year of birth: to check you are 18 or over.
• College and goal: to pick the right questions for you, show your job-readiness score, and count your focus sessions in your college's shared Campus Forest. Only totals are shown there, not your name.
• Practice answers and focus sessions: to show your progress, keep your streak, and choose your next questions.
• Technical data: to keep the site working, stop abuse, and fix problems.

We use your data only for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show you ads based on it. If we want to use your data for something new, we will tell you first and ask again where the law requires it.

When you create an account, you agree to us using your data as this policy describes. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing support@skyaicampus.com from the email address on your account. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.

After you withdraw, we stop using your data and delete it as described in How long we keep it. Anything we did before you withdrew stays lawful. Without your data we cannot run your account, so withdrawing consent closes it.

Your account and learning data are stored in a database run by Supabase in its Mumbai, India region.

Some of our providers (listed below) may process data briefly on servers outside India, for example to send an email or deliver a web page quickly. The DPDP Act allows this except to countries the Government of India restricts, and we will follow any such restriction.

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls so each student can only see their own data, and limited staff access.

These companies ("Data Processors") handle data only on our instructions, to run SkyAI Campus:

• Supabase: database and sign-in (Mumbai region).
• Resend: sends account emails, like confirming your email or resetting your password.
• Vercel: hosts the website.

Coming later: we plan to add analytics and error-tracking tools to see which features help and to fix bugs, and an AI tutor (Sky Tutor). We will update this list and the "Last updated" date before we turn any of them on.

We may also share data if the law requires it, for example a valid order from a court or government authority.

• While your account is open: we keep your data so your progress and streak are there when you come back.
• When you delete your account or withdraw consent: we delete your personal data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
• If you don't use your account for 3 years: we email you, and if you don't log in within 48 hours of that email, we delete your account.
• Logs: the DPDP Rules require us to keep certain logs for at least 1 year. We keep them for 1 year, then delete them.

We may keep totals with no personal details (for example "1,200 trees grown at a college") after your data is deleted.

Under the DPDP Act you can:

• Access: ask what personal data we hold about you, how we use it, and who we have shared it with.
• Correct and update: fix or complete your details. You can change most of them yourself on your profile page.
• Delete: ask us to delete your account and data.
• Withdraw consent: stop us using your data at any time (see Your consent).
• Complain: raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not happy with our answer.
• Nominate: choose someone to use these rights for you if you die or can't act for yourself.

To use any of these rights, email support@skyaicampus.com from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm it's you. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 90 days at the most.

For any question or complaint about your data, contact our Grievance Officer:

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once you have used our grievance process.

For now, SkyAI Campus is only for people aged 18 and over. We ask for your year of birth at sign-up and do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think someone under 18 has signed up, email support@skyaicampus.com and we will delete the account.

If there is a data breach that affects you, we will tell you as soon as we can: what happened, what it means for you, and what you can do. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date. For big changes, we will tell you by email or on the site before they apply.
